History

Mike Wöhlert – Founder and CEO of Meister Solar

Beginnings in Germany
In 1995, Mike Wöhlert founded his company Solar3000 in Berlin Hoppegarten (Germany). From the outset, the company has seen itself as a full-service provider for the design, procurement and installation of photovoltaic systems. In the course of time, with more than 2,000 projects, Solar3000 became a successful solar company that was active in the private sector as well as the corporate, industrial and public sectors. Solar3000 still holds a large market share in East Germany.

Relocation to the Philippines
In 2010, convinced of the potential of renewable energies, Mike Wöhlert decided to sell Solar3000 and open up new markets abroad. He moved to the Philippines with his family and co-founded Meister Solar Technology with his brother. The new company follows the same values as its successful German company: Top quality, friendly service, excellent price-performance ratios and a responsible, sustainable approach.
